2019 Taiwan Top 10 Coolest Tech Startups

Dr. Liang-Gee Chen, Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), announced the 10 coolest tech startup companies today at Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA). The Taiwan government has invested the resources in building a tech startup ecosystem in Taiwan, this policy has encouraged many startups come up with innovative ideas and solution to emerged into the market. This year, the Ministry of Science and Technology has selected “10 Taiwan Most Innovative Tech Startup 2019” to promote the coolest innovation, services, and products in order to promote Taiwan tech startup in the global market.

The 10 Taiwan Most Innovative Tech Startup of 2019 panelists are chosen by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, with the professional opinion from the domestic and international accelerators, incubators, startup communities and venture capitalist. The top 10 teams are selected by 3 rounds, from over 2,000 current Taiwan startup companies via 4 main parts of reviewing, technology quality, global potential market, industrial influential, and startup team potential, which demonstrate the solid tech capability of Taiwan’s tech startup.

This year, the top 10 Taiwan coolest tech startup companies come from AI, bio-tech, health care and ICT fields, which follows as below,

  • Brain Navi Biotechnology Co.,Ltd. (Health Care)

  • Kneron (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. (AI)
  • QT Medical, Inc. Taiwan Branch (U.S.A.) (health care)
  • Taiwan Main Orthopaedic Biotechnology Co.,Ltd (health care)
  • Tetanti Agribiotech Inc. (bio-tech)
  • Verdigris Technologies, Inc. (ICT)

In order to draw more attentions and attract global capitals, we invite domestic and international Medias join together, and thereby help with development of tech startups, industry and economy of Taiwan.” said Liang-Gee Chen, Minister of Ministry of Science and Technology.

In order to build a high-tech startup friendly ecosystem, and foster high-tech entrepreneurship in Taiwan, Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), a pioneer program funded by the MOST, aims to connect global resources. Since the program started last June, plenty of public and private international partners are located in TTA, including French and Canadian initiatives, international accelerators such as, SparkLabs Taipei, BE Capital, SOSV-MOX and IAPS, with over hundred startup teams. TTA hopes to attract global and domestic talents and actively foster the innovation of technology industries by building a co-creation platform for startups, accelerators, venture capital, and corporate partners.
